This secluded home, South of the Highway in Water Mill, was originally converted by renowned Interior Designer George Dandrige in 1980. The original timber structure dates back to 1869 as marked by a carving in the cedar beams with the initials "E.R", representing one of the oldest families on the East End.

In 2020, Interior Designer Pacci Taub gut-renovated the home paying attention to every minute detail, modernizing and updating the home into a contemporary living and entertaining space. A key aspect of the renovation project was maintaining the homes existing architectural integrity with its 28ft vaulted ceilings, hand-hewn cedar beams, and beautiful slate floor, a delicate balance between what is and what was. All details were designed to provide absolute comfort and relaxation with; fully automated smart home features, radiant heated floors, Sonos indoor and outdoor sound system, Viking Professional appliances, stone countertops, high-end kitchen and bath fixtures, and designer furnishings throughout.

This 2,700 SF home sits on an acre of land down a 500ft driveway and is surrounded by a large reserve and protected wetlands. The first floor is perfect for entertaining with an open plan living, dining and kitchen space all flowing outside to the large pool deck. The focal point of the space, is a cantilevered stairway with open oak treads and a bent pipe railingThrough a private hallway are two separate bedrooms, each with well-appointed ensuite bathrooms and a powder room and laundry room. The second floor has a master bedroom with a luxurious master bath as well as a large study converted into a fourth bedroom. The home provides luxurious living and entertaining while being just minutes by bike or car from the restaurants and shops in Bridgehampton Town and the Atlantic Ocean.
